SAFTEY FIRST
I had to replace mine, it's not a bad job for a diy'er.
Raise the rear seat bottoms, you can remove them if you wish.
remove the cover plate over the fuel pump, clean around the connectors and wiring. Be very careful when removing the hose connectors on the pump, I wasn't careful enough and had to repair the line. If you know the pump is bad and have a new one on hand you can break off the tabs on the pump that hold the line ends in place. Good idea mark which line is which
then move wires and lines out of the way and use some type of spanner wrench to loosen the lock ring holding the pump in.
Have a container on hand to put the pump in as it will leak gas as you pull it out, you have to tilt it as you pull it out as the level float goes off to the side.
Install in reverse order
Good luck!
