My recommendations are every 6 month or 5000 miles.
If you drive the car a lot you might be able to run 7-10K intervals between oil changes or 6 month whichever comes first.
Another aspect that is just as important is how much oil your engine is burning up in between oil changes.
Some engines burn more oil than others and you won't know that until you have put some miles on your own car.
Sure, the manual say to check oil level now and then but many car owners just rely on the oil change done at the service station and just drive the car never to open the hood until it is at the service station again next time.
If your engine burn oil (1 quart every 1000-1500 miles is what car manufacturers feel is acceptable) you will run out of oil long before you are due for your next oil change. And no car warranty will cover your engine if that is what happened.
