9-5 OIL Pressure Concerns

After having a false (I think, thanks Saab for the oil pressure guage that you did not put on the car) reading from a new oil sender in my wifes 2003 9-5 Linear with 78K I have been doing a lot of thinking/fearing this problem. I have read the nines artical from Andrews and studied other information as well. I want to put an oil pressure guage on the car but I am trying to make up a T adapter to have the light and guage (it is the wifes car you know). I am also thinking of replacing the oil pump gears, o-ring and main seal as I can do this for $69.36 in parts and it may be good money spent if nothing but for some peace of mind. I plan on also replacing the oil pressure releive valve and spring. I found EPC interesting in the fact that my 1998 NG900 takes the same oil pump gear set and oil relief valve as the 2003 9-5 part number wise. But the spring in the oil pressure relief valve is a different part number. The 9-5 had 9182197 $3.30 list and the NG900 has Pn 9309998 $4.60 list. Does anyone, especially Anders know why the two engines have the same pump, valve and different springs. I found this interesting to say the least.
I am also looking for a direct source of a t adapter that will work with the limited clearance of a 9-5 for an oil pressure guage and light combo in the area at the starter. Or I would like to know if another oil port exist in the engine to come off with a guage with available fittings. I would love to go with an electrical guage but the clearance will force a mechanical one with an oil line. Any advice would be appreciated.
2003 9-5 Linear 78K
1998 NG900 104K currently down for 6 weeks doing Balance chains, timing chains, head, piston rings main and rod bearings. Sight sludging from prior owner service.
