I am also amazed that they even lasted the 88 K that I put on them before you bought the car from me. I am also wondering if the EBC pads might be the culprit and since the Saab pads have now changed,I am leaning towards going back to the stock setup and giving that a try. Unless an aftermarket rotor is thicker, it is not likely to solve the problem. Since the rotor thickness is somewhat dictated by the calipers, chances are they are not, and I am not about to spend 4000 re engineering the brake setup on my car, (as the Abbott Racing guys suggested)just to potentially extend brake job intervals by 15,000 miles. Perfectbrakes.com offers EBC rotors to fit the Aero, but I am not interested in being the test mule for that setup,so probably will go with stock next time. I'm still of the opinion, reinforced by what Bob has told me, that rotors and pads should bed in together and always be changed as a set,and my friend in Saab has confirmed it as well. Hope your car is running well. Lou
