I would suggest you ask the selling dealer.
There are several companies that offer upgrades to the Aero. But they're not "chips", they are actually programs installed onto your car's computer (ECU). These companies include BSR, Nordic, Hirsch, Abbott, Chipcenter, etc.
My understanding is that an ECU upgrade will void your warranty. However, I have also heard that some dealer-installed upgrades will not - the Hirsch upgrade comes to mind.
So, like I said, you'd better check with the selling dealer. If they assured you that your car has a warranty, you'd better have them put it in writing.
BTW, an Aero with 300hp??? Yummy!!
