I went to a tire installer today to have the 2 piece BBS wheels installed. I was very happy until I got home and noticed that the rear left of the car was noticeably lower than the rear right. There is nothing in the car to account for a significant loading in that area.
I don't know if I just noticed the sagging or if during the wheel installation, the mechanic did something to cause this?
What would be a cause of the sagging? The shock absorber going on me?
I purchased the 2001 Aero this February as a CPO and it now has 48K miles. Is the shock absorber classified as a consumable item and not subject to the CPO warranty? Would I have a case, being that it's only three months into my ownership, to have the dealer fix it? Good will?
Am I better off just replacing all four sets? I know some have replaced their shocks and springs with aftermarket systems (Eibachs, Bilsteins). Any recommendations?
Thanks
