Assuming that there is a dealership still here in the Central NJ area....

What are your opinions about the relative pros and cons of the following, given that my lease on 2002 9-5 Linear wagon is up at end of July -- it will have 45k miles..

1. buy for 15k and keep through to 100k miles or even longer (wife is worried that it will break down in midde of no where, etc.; expensive things breaking, etc.)
2. turn it over and lease a new 2005 9-5 wagon
3. turn it in and go for a non-Saab wagon -- say an Audi, VW, or even up to the new BMW 5 series wagon.

Does anyone know about the value of buying an extended warranty, by the way?
