Sorry about the stone. I have to say get ready for alot more heartaches. The second day I had my car we went shopping. I really wanted to leave her home but since we bought the car because of my insistance that I wanted a nice car to get around in and run errands in. Besides my bargaining point was that DH truck is a gas hog and my Explorer has to be saved to keep delivering mail I had no choice. To be safe we parked a the far end of the lot away from everyone. I never took note that we were at the bottom of an incline. When we came out of the store the car sat alone but a shopping cart, that a no good lazy bum who couldnt walk an extra step to put back into the corrale, had barreled down the lot at top speed and into the perfect passengerside panel making 2 dings. I swear I almost lost it in the lot. I am sure a sight for onlookers as I literally ran down the lot saying "I can't believe this" Distrought we bought the "POPS- A-Dent" (worked a little bit but in the sun the dings are still there. Well the car stayed home for a while, but then a trip to the mall was called for. I thought ok were safe no shopping carts at the mall, well not unless you park where we did at the back end of Target, no carts anywhere insight until we walked out of the mall and whats that? No way, yup a cart was planted right into the other door. The other day I washed and waxed her then went out to meet friends for dinner that night. The next morning I noticed a ding with the added bonus of a circular scrap at the top of the trunk. It had to have happened at the restaurant. Icing on cake was my DH fault, driving down road and hitting a pothole, bam flat tire ruined rim. Good thing for the tire/wheel insurance...$500. We've only had the car since December 2004 and frankly I just want to leave it in the garage. I have driven my Explorer for 7 years parked it everywhere and have never come out to find dings or scrapes in it. Anyways sorry to be long winded but your situation just gave me another worry to think about out there on the road. Carts, Idiots, pot holes, now trucks going the other way yikes. I don't think I'll ever buy a "nice" car again. Linda
