If the temp went to "0" and the air conditioner quit at the same time, I wouldn't suspect low coolant. Low coolant should made the engine hot, not the other way around. I would have suggested earlier that you check fuses, etc. but since it is working again, that isn't likely.
I would also not at present suspect the temp sending unit as I can't think of any reason that would cause the air conditioner to quit. Of course modern Saabs are so computer controled, I could be wrong on that one.
Recommendations? Take it to whomever services you car and have them read out the error codes. If you are lucky, that will isolate the problem. One other thing I might try is to disconnect the battery for 20 minutes or so to reset all the computers. Probably won't help but stranger things have happened in the computer world.
