You need to buy a Torx socket called E20 for the crank shaft pulley bolt.
It's not good trying to rotate the engine by pulling on the cam shaft sprocket bolts.
The center pulley can become freed up at certain points of the engine reveloution since the valve springs are acting upon the camshafts and creating tension in different ways on the belt.
When you get the socket for crank pulley and start to rotate the engine by hand (always rotate clockwise) you will see how the tensioner pulley swings back and forth between the end positions due to the different tension from camshafts and valve springs.
Also, don't worry when removing the lower idler pulley and you see that it doesn't look like the new one. For some or another reason, the 2002 and up have an idler pulley from factory without an excentric swivel point but the new one have the swivel function just like all the other V6 from 94 and up.
