thank you to the person that posted on the way to remove and fix the relay .
i am too lazy to go back and get the name. but thank you.

today i took the relay out following the innstructions on moving the tab back.
opened it.
tried to solder but decided to let an expert do it.
contacted a tv repairman , who rides bikes with me , who also does radios,etc....
these guys have all the experience that i lack.
he did it.

and he tells me that the cracks are not heat related. i though that the piia lights may have done it.
he told me that the cracks appear to be vibration related.

so ,i guess that engine really vibrates ..must have been designed by harley davidson.
