What year to buy (used Aero Wagon)?

Hello,
This is my first time posting on this forum. I have been a long time lurker on the 9-3 forum. I currently have a '99 9-3 SE which I have mod'd up a little. I liek the options for performance enhancements. So, I have rencently married and will soon be looking at kids. This means my car needs to grow some too. I have seen several of the 9-5 wagons around and really like their look. A buddy used to have a '00 Aero wagon and it was beautiful. I am looking for any suggestions on the best year for a used Aero wagon. Is it unreasonable to expect to find the same pep and pickup my 9-3 has? What about the options for mods? Perhaps this is only T5?
Now I will listen for your replies.
Be Well,
Mark
