It's my understanding that there is no reason a vehicle which has been hit and fixed according to insurance standards, can't be turned in at the end of the lease with no penalty or deduction. That's one of the benefits of a lease. If it's hit but not totalled, have it fixed to insurance standards and turn it in at the end. If you owned/financed the car outright, instead of a being a lease, and you brought the car to me for trade, there indeed would be a significand value deduction for previous collision damage.
