The dash fascia on my 2000 is rattling more each year. (Having my office relocated to a building w/o a covered parking deck doesn't help either!) These hot summer days, 75 degrees F at 4:45am, are causing the problem to be nearly continuous, and I can no longer stop it by tugging on the dash. Previously this technique would make the noise disappear for weeks at a time.
Saab issued a TSB for this problem years ago but I can not find a copy. The fix is to remove the fascia, adhere 5 or 6 strips of felt to the dash support, then re-install the fascia. The TSB showed where to install the felt strips.
Does anyone have a copy or know where it is posted? TIA
