Generally asymmetric tires have hard rubber on the outside edge, and softer rubber on the inside edge. This allows them to maintain their shape and to support the cornering forces seen during spirited driving. If you push the car through the curves, you will wear the soft rubber on that tire faster than the hard rubber on the other three. I would have it remounted to match the other three.
If your tire is unidirectional as opposed to asymmetirc, then you will run into tread wear issues on that tire. The difference is subtle, but it is important.
