ok...Im obviously not engine savy or a do it my selfer when it comes to cars,wish I was, all I want to do is top off my coolant but Im not sure if I should go spend $ on coolant, which I have no idea what brand to use. Should I use just tap water, or distilled water, do I have the engine running when I do this? I'll be having a 80k mile check in a couple of months at dealers, 40 mins away, and they can tell me if I should have it flushed or whatever at that time. The blue coolant is down 2" from the max line. Thanks, this is such a informative site!
