I live in southern Colorado at the foot of the San Juan Mtns. I have an '00 9-5 wagon and use Blizzak tires in the winter. I've gone over Red Mtn Pass at 10,000+ feet in snow 1-2 feet deep (before the plows got there)with no problems. Although the Subaru is a great winter car, the Saab holds its own, and is (to me) more comfortable. Now if I can just find the cut-off switch for the check engine light:)
