thanks for the replys....I guess that I should be satisfied....I don't really buy the safety reason.....wouldn't you wait till the last second to open your doors if you felt unsafe....what I think is unsafe is not being able to make the car scream by using the fob as a panic button as you aproach the vehicle....just ask the perp if he (she) could move a little closer to the car....a little closer please....and I hate being half way across the parking lot and forgeting if I locked her up and having to have to walk back to check (it's always locked).....I guess it's kinda petty...but I feel better knowing that I'm not in the boat alone.....thanks again
