So, can we plug in our music players in the new 9-5s? Posted by Scott Paterson [Email] (#13) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Scott Paterson) on Wed, 24 Aug 2005 12:51:11 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
So, is Saab going to miss the boat (which already sailed years ago) and not let us plug in our MP3 players to the new 9-5's or has this, after a decade of requests on the site, finally going to be a simple thing to do or do the current 9-5's come with this ability? If so, can someone take a photo. It's the one area I get mocked about Saabs from my now not so tech friends. In fact, people are equated the lack of this feature in many Saabs as a good example of the lack of even the simplest useful daily use technologies...
I'm tired of trying to defend Saab on this issue so I've finally given in and now I just tell my friends that Saab is trying to be the LAST car manufacturer to make it easy to use an iPod with their cars. It's a 'STRAGETY' (bugs bunny - and just about as laughable).
Someone please tell me some non yes-person finally took a stand and said, "Hey, look at all these iPods and other MP3 players - just about everyone I know owns one.... shouldn't we make them work with our cars".
Someone tell me I'm way off my rocker and these are already supported in all models except my 2005 Aero (I've got to remove my radio and do an inline fix like I did on my Sonett).
