Many have used a screwdriver to apply sideways pressure and twist to pop it off. Hard to describe but easy to demonstrate I think. I had better luck with a paint can top lifter, as it was strong and it was slightly 'hooked' on the end. Using the holes where the bulbs fit, try and grab the edge of the amber piece and pull to separate it from the clear part. There's usually only 3 spots where the amber piece was 'tacked' with glue. Take your time and try not to get frustrated, being careful about slipping and scratching the reflector part. Once you get it loose, the piece will be juggling around in there with no way to get it out. Use a pair of needle-nose pliers to crunch the orange piece up into smaller pieces that you can shake out of the holes where the bulbs go. Some compressed air will help to get the really small pieces out as well. Hope this helps, and here's a link to the procedure from the 9-3 board. Cheers.
