Hello: FWIW, the warranty expired a while back on our '01 9-5 Linear, but, before it did, I took the car to dealer and asked him to check it over and advise of what it needed prior to the expiration. As I knew the svc adviser pretty well, I trusted that he would not say, "nothing is wrong." Previously, they had changed the smoke-producing turbo, updated the software on the DI, replaced the spotty SID, and maybe a couple more items which I can't remember right now. It is now more than 12k miles and a year later and it, knock on wood, is performing very well. My only problem w/ the car is that it seems to want to pull a bit to the L as I'm going down the road. I've had the tires changed around and it hasn't helped, so maybe it needs an alignment. Also, at 70-72+ mph it's still giving us 27.5+ on both the car's calculator and my own. Michigan's gasoline's the most expensive in the country, so that makes a bit of a difference. (It's better than our '00 V70 XC gets at the same speeds, i.e., about 24 mpg.) DKH
