Is a front spolier distance sensor possible?

I have become spoiled by the ease of the parktronic system and the passanger curb mirror function. The process could not be simple; shift into reverse, press button, lower radio, keep eye on passanger side mirror and ease into the space until the beeps become solid.

Recently we resurrected the topic of front spoilers and I know what a pain in the ass this is because every time I pull into a parking lot spot I risk hitting the spoiler. I usually stop way short and the already large Saab booty sticks out even further.

How hard would it be to install a front parktronic system. I imagine a sensor mounted in the lower spoiler air dam wired to something as simple as a light bulb that would go off when a certain distance is reached say 12 inches....
is this possible? it would probably wouldn't be worth the time of getting wiring through the firewall and all that, but for some that live in urban areas it might be worth it...
