Hi there. I am having the same sort of problem. (Search on my name and you will see another similar thread) I live in western NY state. So far, the dealer has replaced the crankshaft position sensor and the DIC. No relief. The service manager did give me some very odd advice about NOT using any Mobil fuel, and also NOT to use any fuel over 89 octane!
Well, I dunno about Mobil, as I've been using it all along since I bought the car (a CPO) last Feb. (No starting probs until July) But 89 octane? Isn't the Aero engine optimized to run with high octane fuel?
I've had the car in 3 times (3 days apiece) - no change in behavior. I love the Aero, but I am beginning to worry about what this will mean down the road when my CPO has expired and I have a car that won't start for reasons no one can figure out. BTW, What region of the US do you live in?
