I bought a leftover 2004 9-5 Arc earlier this year... espresso black exterior and saddle interior.
I've wanted to dress up the interior a bit... in particular the stock door pulls which, IMHO, look really cheap compared to the rest of the interior. Unfortunately, nobody seems to make anything to match the '04 "Darkwood" dash, so I had planned to eventually replace the dash with the earlier dark walnut and then try to find a set of the Saab wooden door pulls (that now seem to be discontinued). I don't like the stateofnine "stick on" door pull covers because they don't completely cover the pulls.
I had ruled out going for a carbon fiber dash and pulls because I thought they were dark grey and would only look decent with a grey/black interior. I am really interested that you describe your dash as having a "goldish brown tint". Did you get it from the Saab catalog? Do you have the saddle interior? If so, could you take a few digital pics and send them to me if I posted an email address?
