The toughest part of this job was waiting for the rebuilt module. :-)
It took me 20 minutes to remove the module (and I took pictures in case anyone needs help). I rented a car for the 6 days the module was in shipment and repair. It took me about 10 minutes to get it back in. I started it up, the lights went out as the system checked out (except the TCS OFF light). I drove it down the street; shut it off; re-started it and the remaining TCS OFF light went out as well.
This would have run me $2540 for the part, $300 in labor, $120 in diagnostics ($2960). I paid $160 for the rental, $275 for the rebuild and $120 for the dealer diagnosis ($555). Now to see if I can get my $309 back for the DIC I replaced in May!
