Springs that go "boing!" and spiders...

Hey gang,
I know we all love riddles; especially Saab related...
My problem is twofold;
First, sometimes when going over moderate road depressions (as opposed to jarring potholes) I get a "Boiiiinnngg!" spring sound. Once this happened when I went over a very mild (rounded edges) pothole and today it happened when making a right onto a road where the asphalt is laid a little higher...again a smooth transition from one surface to another but the front suspension compressed nevertheless.
I know its in the front and it sounds like the drivers side. I can actually feel this "boiiing!" through the steering column. Loud, Looney Tunes type boiinng. Any takers?
Second,
I've brushed off a few spiders from my doors while standing next to the car, a few were wiped away using the wipers, and now I have had a few inside the cabin. I park my car on the street, rarely in the same spot. Previous owner lived in the boonies, on the outskirts of a PA suburb.
Did these things set up shop somwhere in my car? I suspect the external gutters - under the rubber there. White, 1/4" spiders....
Any takers?
:)
Thanks,
Tom
