I still don't know exactly what seal you are talking about? The torque converter turbine shaft seal is only accessible when tranny and engine is parted so that one would make sense but then again, if you haven't disturbed the seal and did leave the converter in the transmission I don't think it will be needed.
The left/right drive shaft seals can always be replaced later if they would to leak.
Only you can make the decision.
I love to hear the outcome of this Frankenjob.
Did you look into the compression rate between the two engines?
Did you keep the crank, rods and pistons inside the B234 engine?
If everything bolts up to each other my biggest concern still is if the size of combustion chamber is different enough to create pinging or lack of power.
Are you using the B234 fiber head gasket or the B235 sheet metal gasket?
