Did you ask your dealer if there is an additive that you can put in with a tank of gas to keep the car running well, avoiding the cold starts and the dirty valves? In my old mazda I would have to add a bottle of Lucas "tune up in a bottle" once every 5 or six tanks or the car would start bucking and would have no power, but as soon as I put in a bottle the engine would come to life. I have kept up this ritual, but not quite as often, and it seems to be keeping my car in good shape... well for now. I have not owned it that long and it has spent a lot of time in the shop (new turbo and now a new axle... that was my fault)
