I agree that going to a dealer for this will get the job done right but at the highest possible price. I use a Saab only independent and am partial to that approach,since the quality of the work is high( better than most dealers actually) and as for materials,I had run two sets of aftermarket pads on my 2002 Aero ( EBC Green Stuff) in an effort to reduce rotor wear as well as dust. About 7000 miles ago I went to the 2005 part number Saab pads and these are not only better at stopping power and feel than the EBC pads, but have even less dust. I highly recommend the 2005 pads( they should fit your car with no problem). As for rotors,I am not aware of a rotor that will actually be better than the stock ones. Good luck
