Mark,
The top 1/2 of my antenna is squishy... so I guess that means that it isn't prewired.
I am using a Motorola Bluetooth handsfree kit without an external antenna hookup, so the lack of a prewired antenna is fine. Same goes for the lack of the prewired ceiling microphone... using the microphone that came with the kit is no big deal.
Even if my car isn't prewired, is there any reason I can't splice into the wiring loom going to the radio to enable the handsfree features -- radio muting, listening through the stereo speakers etc.? (Actually, at this point, if it is possible... I will probably have a dealer or independent shop do the work). Would the wire colors in the loom be the same as those people have listed when using the adapter with a prewired car?
Thanks for you help up to this point... and for any other info.
John
