Okay, it is my first front-wheel drive car, and after a road-hazard ruined a OE tire at 9K mi, I let tire rotation slip, i.e., didn't do it after the new tire was installed. Originals and replacement are Pirelli P6s. With that said, from the 9K to now 24K mi I had the same two tires on the front of my 04 Arc and they show excessive wear on outside of the tire. In fact, the original Pirelli P6 tread is almost smooth on the outer edge. The other front tire was new at 9K but also shows excessive outside wear. Both back tires have worn even and have good tread left. I have moved the back tires to the front and will be putting on new snows soon. Question is - Do I have a front-end alignment problem? Or,is this normal wear for these cars when tires are not rotated as often as they should be? Driving has been combination of city and highway at normal speeds.

Thanks for any comments or ideas.
