To some extent I can understand the Valets frustration Posted by SWEDECAR [Email] (#112) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SWEDECAR) on Wed, 26 Oct 2005 08:57:22 In Reply to: Idea: "shift in reverse to remove key" placard, Matthew Mitchell, Tue, 25 Oct 2005 19:38:49 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Any time I have to drive one of these "other stupid brand cars" trying to figure out the trick to get the key out, being a button on one side of the steering column to push or on the other side or maybe having to push the key in and turn to reach the removal position or maybe having to wiggle the shifter on the floor for the shifter/key lock out to kick into position and so forth.
What I do know though is that brute force will not do it but you just have to keep looking for that secret button somewhere.
Keep in mind that valet people are not trained nor highly paid to know everything about every car brand. They only need to move cars quickly.
