Wholesale is $13.3k+, retail is $17k ish +..... Posted by Mike Lynch [Email] (#81) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Mike Lynch) on Mon, 7 Nov 2005 14:57:28 In Reply to: 2001 9-5 Pricing, Nick_IN, Mon, 7 Nov 2005 14:45:52 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Be skeptical yes, but not because of price. You didn't specify what model and options, but if we start with a base automatic 2.3 lpt with 62k than actual wholesale book is $13,335 and retail is $16,945. KBB.com says $13,065 is a private party selling value in good condition and $16,945 is the KBB.com full retail value. Decent price for a nice car, not a steal though. Of course it's even better if it's an SE, add another $1,300ish or it has a premium package or something else.
Do get a Saab dealer or Saab independent inspection. Likely the major 60k service hasn't been done on a 62k mile car for sale.
