I bought one of these. The EPC is great and exactly what I see on the screen when I go to my local dealer. What was sold to me as "Saab WIS" seems actually to be some kind of dodgy aftermarket "100 car manuals on a CD" type of thing. I find it pretty terrible, poorly laid out, scant on information, almost no photos/diagrams at all. Luckily it was cheap enough. It does however have some useful information like torque settings and the like.
I haven't seen the Haynes manual for the Saab, but I've used them on Alfas and motorcycles and considered them very helpful as they tend to be written with the ameteur mechanic in mind and usually include comprehnsive "real world" explanations and lots of concise photos.
Is there a proper Saab workshop manual available on CD? I just looked at the crappy one I got and it is called "Mitchell On Demand System", I wouldn't buy it again.
Cheers
Steve
