Hey all,
Just wondering if the 0-60mph time gets slower as the years go by and parts get older.
Have a 2.0 9-5 185hp 2001
JR Sports Air Filter
Abbott Racing Dump Valve
BSR catback exhaust
225/17/45 tyres with BBS Wheels
Just me in the car, 1/2 tank of gas, outdoor air temperature was 28Deg Celcius.
Flat road and my 0-100 timing (no sports mode, a/c on)was 9.5 secs. have done multiple runs to confirm and the readings range from 9.3 to 9.9 secs.
Guess thats alright.. up to manufacturers specs.. but i somehow thought id get a slightly better timing after the upgrades.
Hmm... any other info.. car was serviced 3500miles Mobil 1 0w-40 Fully Syn. Was running on 98 RON Esso gas. DI is still on the original one though after 73000 miles.
Strangely enough, tried to put in a Stage 1 Hirsh chip to 220hp but Check Engine light came on and would only go away if a new DI was installed so i gave that upgrade up.
Im not advocating dangerous driving and random sprints. But it would be cool to know under what conditions Saab gets the 0-60 figures.
Shaun
