To add to our discussion, I did a quick back-up test yesterday in the parking lot - about 4 mph, backwards, sudden stop. Three bounces! Same forward, everything normal.
Ian Glenday`s post convinced me that it is more likely shocks on the rear. More thought last night, that if the springs are at the lowest point in the travel range, it may affect the position of the shocks, in a way that the gas/fluid (I can`t remember if they are gas-filled!) leaks.
In the unloaded position, which I have run for about 90 days, I am not making the cupping worse.
I do know that I need to replace the bushings on the left side.
Interesting to hear about it on an Aero - I thought that the components would be much stiffer than on my regular Wagon.
