installation is fairly simple:
1-remove bolt that runs through old bushing in order to remove old bushing.
(note that you may also have to loosen the bracket on the transmission that the bushing is mounted to in order to gain some clearance to remove bolt completely from the bushing...17-18mm socket.)
2-remove old bushing...basically falls out...no tools needed.
3-install new bushing. i used a 3" c clamp and a large screwdriver. some people cut the lip off of the old bushing and slide it in easily. i chose to install the bushing ini ts entirety to be assured that any movement would be minimized and i didn't ruin my new bushing.
i installed 3 sides of the bushing into the retainer and tried to force the rest of the bushing in with the c-clamp. this method failed as i could not force the bushing in squarely.
solution: install 3 sides of the bushing into the retainer...the pry the lip of the fourth side into the retainer so that all 4 sides are noe being retianed. next get your c-clamp and a small plate (i used a wrench)to aplly load over entire bushing and force it into the retainer)
4- install bolt that secures bushing and transmission bracket that is attached to bushing. tighten all bolts. go driving.
pic of bushing and bolt that is sometimes difficult to extract completely
