Funny, I had another similar experience when I bought my CPO Aero - from a Caddy dealer that had the Saab franchise about a year and a half at the time. When I arrived to pick up the car (about 1-1/2 hours from home), all went well until the actual delivery. The salesman had the car warmed up outside (cold winter's day) and when I asked him for the keys, he said they were in the ignition. I asked him for the spare set, and he just shrugged his shoulders and said "That's it. Just one set."

I wanted to get home, so I took the car. I called the salesman the next day, and his attitude was "At that price, you only get one key..."

I called Saab customer service and it took them about 1 minute to let me know a new spare (with transponder) was on its way to me, and that programming at my local dealer was, of course, gratis. I also registered a complaint about both the selling dealership and the salesman.

I guess some marketing genius at GM has decided that Saab owners are like Caddy owners. Not.
