for the third time to have them look at the intermittently failing heater blower motor. Previously, I have had to leave the car all day with no resolution to the matter. The reason was that the dealership was unable to reproduce the malfunction. Typical, huh? Anyway so I'm on my way to work this morning, and it fails just like always about 5 minutes into my commute. Luckily I live about 5 minutes from the dealership, so I pulled into the bay, left the car running, hopped out and grabbed the first guy I saw pointing and shouting "see, it's broken!". Well I didn't really shout but I was emphatic about it anyway. He fiddled with the temp control for a minute, and after no response from the climate control, they said they would look into it further. Hopefully I can get my blower motor replaced, as it's getting cold outside! My luck is that they won't have the part and I'll have to bring it back two more times for the install, after which I will discover that my wipers don't work correctly because of a botched removal to get to the blower motor. Does anyone else hate the dealer? I contemplated just taking the car to Tom Townsend for the fix, and just paying out of pocket even though it's a CPO. At least it would be done right. Cheers
