Please excuse me. I'm currently in China and can't get a first hand look at a Saab until August when I return home.
So I was sold on the 9-3 SportCombi, but I think it may be too small for my family. I keep coming back to Saab though, and am looking a the new 9-5 SportCombi.

Questions:

About the grille no one seems to like. Can you just remove the chrome surrounding? I'd like it if the transition from sheetmetal to headlights was more like it in the rear.

The web site says the dash is available with "black burlwood". I've seen the wood dash pics. Maybe a dumb question, but is there an option (aftermarket OK) for a truly black wood dash and trim? How about carbon fiber? Anyone have a site with info or pics?

For people from the SF Bay Area, particularly East Bay, what have dealer experiences been like? Is the service more Audi or GMC? I've owned both.

What are the best aftermarket sites? For MSRP 38k (minus whatever deal) I will go fully loaded, but I'm sure there is something I can add on or change!
