Installed Saab Rear Shade (photos)

Found a OEM Saab shade at StateofNine in beige.
Installed it in...oh I don't know....25 minutes?
Lift shelf, insert spacers, grab a drill and start rolling around the trunk, holes are premarked, all you have to do is poke it with a drill and you're done. There is a unit below the rear parcel material stamped "motorola" is this the phone part of the onstar system? Anyhow, photos of the shade are attached, it looks really good and the rear cabin is significantly darker as a result.
The only problem is that my auto dimming mirrors don't work as well and my sides don't dim, but I'll lower it at night. State of nine has only a few units left as this is a discontinued product. Also, the parts of the shade "rail" that have screws compress the material more. When looking at the unit you can tell where the screws are because they warp the rear parcel ever so slightly when tightened.

Best to you and yours during this season,
Tom
