For a 0WX dyno oil, if such things exist, I would be very concerned.
Some synthetic base stocks are temperature sensitive and have the desired temperature-viscosity behavour and need no viscosity index improver. Valvoline used to brag about that when their 10W30 synthetic was the Corvette factory fill. That was also when there synthetic was the real thing, not the group IV oil that almost no one uses in US brands except for Mobil 1 and almost all Amsoil products. So VII depletion is much less of a problem for synthetic oils.
