I had a XM Commander installed in my 2004 95 ARC. Since there is not "ACC" position, per the XM Commander instructions, the sound shop installed the XM to be supplied with power when the Ignition Key is in the "ON" position. Which also supplies power to the DIC and everything else. Which is will burn out the DIC if the vehicle engine is not running.

There are times when I would like to run the Radio while the vehicle is not running. The radio and CD/Tape/Radio will play when the key is inserted in and the off position or when no key is inserted but the power button will activate the audio system.

I would like to hook up my XM Commander to the same circuit that the radio is connected to rather than being powered when the Ignition switch is on. I suspect there is a relay that I can tap off of or even the ignition control module for the ignition switch.

What would be the best circuit/relay to tap off of?
