Car only starts if jumped (long)

I searched this site for a possible answer, but didn't find a clear one.
Last Saturday, I had a 2 hour trip to a relatives house. When I tried to leave that night the car would not start. Turn the key and I hear a click, nothing else. I got a jump start and the car ran normal for the 2 hour drive home. When I got home I turned the car off, waited a minute then tried starting it again. The car started right up. The next morning I went out and tried to start it, no luck.
Figuring its the battery, I head to advanced auto parts and pick up a new battery (AUTOCRAFT TITANIUM). I put the new battery in, the car still would not start. A roommate had to jump start me. I drove the car around town for awhile, then came home. Waited about 3 hours, and tried to start the car. It started right up.
The car has been starting fine until this afternoon when I tried to leave work and car wouldn't start. Tested the voltage on the battery, it read 12v. Got the car started via a jumpstart. Tested the voltage again. It showed something like 13.5v.
SID shows nothing, the battery light, engine light, and the exclamation light are on while trying to start the car. Those lights all go out when it does start up.
Anyone have a clue what could be the problem?
Thanks for reading this.
