I am about to buy a used AERO 2002 from a non-SAAB dealer 1500 miles away, then drive home. wonder if there;s an easy way to know if the DIC recall work has been done? I wish there were a website where I could enter the VIN and the SAAB dbase would tell me what's outstanding to be done. Also if it has not been done, can I drive by the SAAB dealer out there and just pick up the part under recall to have for my ride home, or do I need to check in wait a day to get the part free? I've read several posts here, don't see my answer yet, thanks,
