Makes me feel special too! Since I have a MY05 9-5 Arc Wagon, under lease, that was driven by the local Thornhill Saab dealer as a demonstrator, and possibly used for a local cycling club, if I believe the ghosts of letters in my rearview mirror in foggy weather....
I have the beige interior, and its fine. But I don't call it parchment silver - I call it greasy-grey-green Limpopo, after the description of the African river in Rudyard Kipling's Just So stories (How the Elephant Got Its Trunk).
On a sunny day, it looks beige, on a cloudy day it looks green, and in the snow it looks grey. The Ontario Motor Vehicle registration calls it GRY.
Anyway, it took some time for my wife to get used to her Pearl car, since she wouldn't be seen in a Parchment Silver car for all the money in the world. Those graphic designers and their colour Pantone names....Arrgh.
Cheers from balmy Toronto
