Ok so assuming its too thin, what type of damage are we looking at? worn pistons?
note that the oils used in jap turbo cars are 10w-50 so that might be on the thick side...
this is my first time trying 0w-30 and im about to take a long drive up north... so perhaps with sustained cruising at 80mph or so, it would be wiser to change to a thicker oil prior to the trip?
the thin oil might be good for day to day short trips for fast warm ups and optimum operating temp?
just some thoughts =)
