Calipers are interchangeable with Saturn LS - and they are available as rebuilts. Note that Saturns have the option of composit or iron piston - use only the iron piston kind. Alternators are essentially standard issue Bosch, as are the ABS components. Even uniquely 9-5 items like SID and Audio can be serviced by independents who advertise on Saabnet.
The areas where you would really be stuck if you had a failure - car computers, engine internals, are pretty reliable, with the engine being reliable if it had been properly maintained. That said, there is no European car on the planet that's as easy to own as a C900. In terms of ease of service, availability of parts, cost of parts, network of people who are well familiar with the car, and availablity of reasonably priced performance enhancements, there's no comparison.
