The small 3" "Mr MaGoo" headlight lenses are called projector beams and xenon 9-5 cars have the projector beams whereas the standard full size reflectors for the halogen. Optional on 9-5 Aeros 2002-2005. 2006 have projector beams, but no xenons without the visibility package. 9-3SS are all projector beam too and xenon bulbs are also an option on most models or standard for the first time on any '06 Aero.

9-5 xenons used to be bi-xenons, high and low beam where xenon. Lately high beams have reverted to the halogen reflector part. Some folks swear by xenons, but others think the halogens are just as good, just not as future tech.
