So, my '02 Aero still runs on 225/45 17" Michelins which I replaced only a few thousand miles ago and it occured to me that I still don't know how wide those 17" Saab wheels are. This arises because my wife is considering some BBS rims for her A6 4.2 (which is running on 255/40 17" Continentals) and I have no idea how to tell just how wide the wheel should be...is the info somewhere on the tire? are all 17" wheels 8" wide? This makes me feel really dumb...
